- Oats - 50 grams, ground
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Ground black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Burger buns - 2, whole grain preferred
- Cucumber - 1/2, thinly sliced
- Carrot - 1 small, grated
- Fresh mint - 1 tablespoon, chopped
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Chili flakes - to taste
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, mash the cooked chickpeas with a fork until slightly chunky.
- Add peanut butter, red curry paste, minced garlic, cilantro, lime juice, soy sauce, ground oats, salt, and pepper to the mashed chickpeas and mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into two equal-sized patties, making sure they are compact.
