  • Panang curry paste - 2 tablespoons

  • Brown sugar - 1 teaspoon
  • Lime zest - 1 teaspoon
  • Fresh cilantro, chopped - 2 tablespoons
  • Burger buns - 2
  • Mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons
  • Lime juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Cucumber, sliced - 1/2
  • Red onion, thinly sliced - 1/4
  • Lettuce leaves - 2

Steps

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, Panang curry paste, fish sauce, brown sugar, lime zest, and chopped cilantro. Mix until well incorporated.
  2. Shape the mixture into two equal patties.
  3. Heat a grill or frying pan over medium-high heat and cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.
  4. While the patties are cooking, prepare the lime mayo by mixing the mayonnaise and lime juice in a small bowl.
