- Red bell pepper - 1 medium, thinly sliced
- Carrot - 1 medium, julienned
- Green onion - 2 stalks, chopped
- Bean sprouts - 100g
- Cilantro - 1/4 cup, chopped
- Peanuts - 1/4 cup, crushed
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Chili flakes - to taste
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
- In a small bowl, mix tamarind paste, soy sauce, maple syrup, lime juice, and minced garlic to create the sauce.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness and transfer it to a baking sheet or pizza stone.
- Spread the tamarind sauce evenly over the pizza base.
- Arrange the sliced red bell pepper, julienned carrot, and half of the bean sprouts over the sauce.
- Drizzle olive oil over the top and sprinkle with chili flakes to taste.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden and crispy.
- Remove the pizza from the oven and top with the remaining bean sprouts, chopped green onion, and cilantro.
- Finish by sprinkling crushed peanuts on top before slicing and serving.
