- Firm tofu - 200 grams, diced

- Red bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
- Green beans - 100 grams, trimmed and cut into 2 cm pieces
- Mushrooms - 100 grams, sliced
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Oyster sauce (vegetarian) - 1 tablespoon
- Sugar - 1 teaspoon
- Thai basil leaves - 1 cup, packed
- Chili flakes - 1 teaspoon (adjust to taste)
- Cooked jasmine rice - 2 cups (for serving)
Steps
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the diced tofu and cook until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Stir in the sliced red bell pepper and green beans, and cook for another 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Add the sliced mushrooms and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- Stir in the soy sauce, vegetarian oyster sauce, and sugar; mix well to combine all ingredients.
- Add the Thai basil leaves and chili flakes, and stir until the basil is wilted and fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Serve hot over cooked jasmine rice.
