Steps
- Wash the bok choy thoroughly under running water and slice it into bite-sized pieces, separating the stems from the leaves.
- In a large skillet or wok, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic, grated ginger, and sliced chili to the skillet, sautéing for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the bok choy stems to the skillet and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until they start to soften.
- Next, add the bok choy leaves and continue to stir-fry for an additional 2 minutes until they wilt.
- Pour in the soy sauce and sesame oil, stirring well to combine. Cook for another minute to heat through.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste, then remove from heat.
- Sprinkle toasted sesame seeds on top before serving.
