- Ground chicken - 300 grams
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Fresh Thai bird's eye chilies - 2, finely chopped
- Coconut aminos - 2 tablespoons
- Fish sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Fresh basil leaves - 1 cup, packed
- Red bell pepper - 1, sliced
- Green beans - 100 grams, trimmed and cut into 2 cm pieces
- Coconut oil - 1 tablespoon
- Lime - 1, cut into wedges for serving
Steps
- Heat the coconut oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the minced garlic and bird's eye chilies, sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the ground chicken to the pan, breaking it apart with a spatula, and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in the sliced red bell pepper and green beans, cooking for another 3-4 minutes until they are tender.
- Pour in the coconut aminos and fish sauce, stirring well to combine all the ingredients.
- Remove the skillet from heat and fold in the fresh basil leaves until wilted.
- Serve immediately with lime wedges on the side.
