Ingredients

  • Ground chicken - 300 grams
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Fresh Thai bird's eye chilies - 2, finely chopped
  • Coconut aminos - 2 tablespoons
  • Fish sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Fresh basil leaves - 1 cup, packed
  • Red bell pepper - 1, sliced
  • Green beans - 100 grams, trimmed and cut into 2 cm pieces
  • Coconut oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Lime - 1, cut into wedges for serving

Steps

  1. Heat the coconut oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and bird's eye chilies, sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add the ground chicken to the pan, breaking it apart with a spatula, and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Stir in the sliced red bell pepper and green beans, cooking for another 3-4 minutes until they are tender.
  5. Pour in the coconut aminos and fish sauce, stirring well to combine all the ingredients.
  6. Remove the skillet from heat and fold in the fresh basil leaves until wilted.
  7. Serve immediately with lime wedges on the side.
