- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Coriander leaves - 20 grams
- Lime - 1, cut into wedges
- Cucumber - 1, sliced
- Chili flakes - 1 teaspoon (optional)
Steps
- Start by marinating the beef sirloin in soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce, and black pepper for at least 15 minutes.
- While the beef is marinating, cook the jasmine rice according to package instructions and set it aside to cool.
- In a pan, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium heat and sauté minced garlic and chopped onion until fragrant.
- Add the cooked jasmine rice to the pan, stir well, and create a well in the center.
- Crack the egg into the well and scramble it until fully cooked before mixing it into the rice.
- Remove the rice from the pan and set it aside.
- In the same pan, add another tablespoon of vegetable oil and increase the heat to high.
- Grill the marinated beef for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until it reaches your desired doneness.
