- Beef sirloin - 400 grams
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Fish sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Brown sugar - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Black pepper - 1 teaspoon
- Lime juice - 2 tablespoons
- Chili flakes - 1 teaspoon
- Cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Peanut sauce - 100 grams, for dipping
Steps
- Slice the beef sirloin into thin strips, about 1 cm thick.
- In a bowl, combine soy sauce, fish sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, black pepper, lime juice, and chili flakes to make the marinade.
- Add the beef strips to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Cover and let marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- Preheat the grill or BBQ to medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated beef strips onto skewers.
- Grill the skewers for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the beef is cooked to your desired doneness.
- Once cooked, remove from the grill and let rest for a couple of minutes.
- Serve the beef skewers with peanut sauce for dipping and garnish with chopped cilantro.
