Ingredients

  • Beef sirloin - 400 grams
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Fish sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Brown sugar - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Black pepper - 1 teaspoon
  • Lime juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Chili flakes - 1 teaspoon
  • Cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Peanut sauce - 100 grams, for dipping

Steps

  1. Slice the beef sirloin into thin strips, about 1 cm thick.
  2. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, fish sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, black pepper, lime juice, and chili flakes to make the marinade.
  3. Add the beef strips to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Cover and let marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  4. Preheat the grill or BBQ to medium-high heat.
  5. Thread the marinated beef strips onto skewers.
  6. Grill the skewers for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the beef is cooked to your desired doneness.
  7. Once cooked, remove from the grill and let rest for a couple of minutes.
  8. Serve the beef skewers with peanut sauce for dipping and garnish with chopped cilantro.
