- Soy Sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Fish Sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Lime - 1, juiced
- Spinach - 50 grams, fresh
- Carrot - 1 small, julienned
- Green Onions - 2, chopped
- Cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Chili Flakes - to taste
- Pepper - to taste
- Oil - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- In a pot, heat the oil over medium heat and sauté the minced garlic and ginger until fragrant.
- Pour in the chicken or fish broth and bring to a boil.
- Add the fish balls to the boiling broth and cook for about 5 minutes until they are heated through.
- In the meantime, cook the rice noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- Once the fish balls are cooked, add the soy sauce, fish sauce, lime juice, julienned carrot, and spinach to the broth and simmer for another 3-5 minutes.
- Season with pepper and chili flakes to taste.
