Ingredients

  • Beef sirloin - 300 grams
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Thai bird's eye chili - 2, finely chopped
  • Fish sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Brown sugar - 1 teaspoon
  • Lime juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Red bell pepper - 1, sliced
  • Green bell pepper - 1, sliced
  • Onion - 1, sliced
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine minced garlic, chopped chili, fish sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar, and lime juice to make the marinade.
  2. Slice the beef sirloin into thin strips and add it to the marinade. Mix well and let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. While the beef is marinating, prepare the vegetables by slicing the red and green bell peppers and onion.
  4. Heat a grill or a grill pan over medium-high heat and brush it with olive oil.
  5. Remove the beef from the marinade and grill the strips for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until cooked to your desired doneness.
  6. Add the sliced vegetables to the grill and cook for about 5-7 minutes, until they are tender and slightly charred.
  7. Serve the grilled beef and vegetables on a plate, garnished with chopped cilantro.
