Ingredients

  • Firm tofu - 200 grams
  • Lime juice - 3 tablespoons
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Chili flakes - 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Fresh cilantro - 30 grams, chopped
  • Fresh mint - 20 grams, chopped
  • Red onion - 50 grams, thinly sliced
  • Cherry tomatoes - 100 grams, halved
  • Cucumber - 100 grams, diced
  • Roasted rice powder - 1 tablespoon
  • Vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste

Steps

  1. Press the tofu to remove excess moisture, then cut it into bite-sized cubes.
  2. In a bowl, mix lime juice, soy sauce, chili flakes, and minced garlic to create the marinade.
  3. Add the tofu cubes to the marinade and let them sit for at least 15 minutes to absorb the flavors.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat, then add the marinated tofu and cook until golden brown on all sides, about 8-10 minutes.
  5. In a large bowl, combine the cooked tofu, chopped cilantro, mint, sliced red onion, halved cherry tomatoes, and diced cucumber.
  6. Sprinkle roasted rice powder over the salad and mix gently to incorporate all ingredients.
  7. Taste and season with salt if needed, then serve immediately, garnished with extra herbs if desired.
