Ingredients

  • Shirataki noodles - 200 grams
  • Beef sirloin - 150 grams, thinly sliced
  • Lime juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Fish sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Chili flakes - 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Fresh mint leaves - 1/4 cup, chopped
  • Cilantro - 1/4 cup, chopped
  • Red onion - 1/4 cup, thinly sliced
  • Cucumber - 1/2, julienned
  • Cherry tomatoes - 100 grams, halved
  • Peanuts - 2 tablespoons, crushed (optional)
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. Rinse the shirataki noodles under cold water for a few minutes, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add the thinly sliced beef sirloin to the skillet and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  4. In a large bowl, combine the cooked beef, shirataki noodles, lime juice, fish sauce, chili flakes, red onion, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, mint, and cilantro. Toss well to combine all ingredients.
  5. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary, adding more lime juice or fish sauce as desired.
  6. Serve chilled or at room temperature, garnished with crushed peanuts if using.
