- Chili flakes - 1 teaspoon
- Fresh mint leaves - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Fresh cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Burger buns - 2
- Lettuce leaves - 2
- Tomato - 1, sliced
- Cucumber - 1, sliced
- Peanut sauce - 2 tablespoons
Steps
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, shallots, garlic, lime juice, fish sauce, chili flakes, mint, and cilantro. Mix until well combined.
- Divide the mixture into 2 equal portions and shape them into patties.
- Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat and cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.
- While the burgers are cooking, toast the burger buns on the grill until lightly golden.
- Assemble the burgers by placing a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun, followed by the beef patty, tomato slice, cucumber slices, and a drizzle of peanut sauce.
