- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Lemongrass - 1 stalk, finely chopped
- Kaffir lime leaves - 2 leaves, finely shredded
- Cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Fish sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Lime juice - 1 tablespoon
- Vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon
- Chili (fresh) - 1, sliced (optional for heat)
- Cucumber - 1/2, sliced (for serving)
- Lettuce leaves - 4 (for serving)
Steps
- Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and chopped lemongrass, and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp, squid, and fish pieces to the skillet. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the seafood is just cooked through.
- Stir in the Nam Prik Pao, fish sauce, and lime juice. Mix well and cook for another 2 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
- Remove from heat and stir in the shredded kaffir lime leaves and chopped cilantro. Adjust seasoning if necessary.
- Serve the seafood mixture on a bed of lettuce leaves, garnished with sliced cucumber and fresh chili if desired.
