  • Nam Prik Pao (Thai chili paste) - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Lemongrass - 1 stalk, finely chopped
  • Kaffir lime leaves - 2 leaves, finely shredded
  • Cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Fish sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Lime juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Chili (fresh) - 1, sliced (optional for heat)
  • Cucumber - 1/2, sliced (for serving)
  • Lettuce leaves - 4 (for serving)

Steps

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and chopped lemongrass, and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  2. Add the shrimp, squid, and fish pieces to the skillet. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the seafood is just cooked through.
  3. Stir in the Nam Prik Pao, fish sauce, and lime juice. Mix well and cook for another 2 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in the shredded kaffir lime leaves and chopped cilantro. Adjust seasoning if necessary.
