- Whole wheat breadcrumbs - 50 grams

- Lime juice - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon (for cooking)

Steps
- In a large bowl, mash the cooked chickpeas with a fork or potato masher until mostly smooth, leaving some texture.
- Add the Nam Prik Pao, whole wheat breadcrumbs, chopped cilantro, minced garlic, lime juice, salt, and black pepper to the mashed chickpeas. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into two equal-sized patties.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and heated through.
- While the patties are cooking, prepare the burger buns by toasting them lightly on a separate skillet or in a toaster.
- Assemble the burgers by placing a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun, followed by the chickpea patty, sliced cucumber, tomato, and avocado.
- Top with the other half of the bun and serve immediately.
