  • Lime juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Sticky rice - 150 grams
  • Water - 200 milliliters for cooking rice

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, fish sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, white pepper, and lime juice to create a marinade.
  2. Add the sliced pork to the marinade, ensuring all pieces are coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Rinse sticky rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Soak in water for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Drain the soaked rice and place it in a steamer lined with cheesecloth. Steam for about 20-25 minutes until the rice is tender and sticky.
  5. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Thread the marinated pork strips onto skewers.
  6. Grill the pork skewers for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and slightly charred.
  7. Serve the grilled pork skewers hot with sticky rice on the side and garnish with chopped cilantro.
