Ingredients

  • Pork tenderloin - 300 grams
  • Coconut milk - 100 ml
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Brown sugar - 1 tablespoon
  • Turmeric powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Curry powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Lime juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Skewers - 4 (soaked in water for 30 minutes if wooden)

Steps

  1. Cut the pork tenderloin into thin strips, approximately 2 cm wide.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the coconut milk, soy sauce, brown sugar, turmeric powder, curry powder, minced garlic, lime juice, and salt to create the marinade.
  3. Add the pork strips to the marinade, ensuring they are fully coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (or up to 2 hours for more flavor).
  4. Preheat a grill or barbecue to medium-high heat.
  5. Thread the marinated pork strips onto the soaked skewers.
  6. Grill the skewers for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the pork is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
  7. Serve hot with your favorite peanut sauce for dipping.
