  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 50g fresh Thai basil leaves
  • 2 whole wheat burger buns
  • 50g cucumber - sliced
  • 50g tomato - sliced
  • Lettuce leaves - for garnish

Steps

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and chopped chili, sautéing for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add the ground pork to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula, and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Stir in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sugar, cooking for another 2 minutes.
  5. Add the Thai basil leaves and stir until wilted, about 1 minute.
  6. Toast the whole wheat burger buns until golden brown.
  7. Assemble the burgers by placing a lettuce leaf on the bottom bun, followed by a generous scoop of the Moo Pad Krapow mixture, cucumber, and tomato slices.
  8. Top with the other half of the bun and serve immediately.
