- 50g fresh Thai basil leaves
- 2 whole wheat burger buns
- 50g cucumber - sliced
- 50g tomato - sliced
- Lettuce leaves - for garnish
Steps
- Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and chopped chili, sautéing for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the ground pork to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula, and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sugar, cooking for another 2 minutes.
- Add the Thai basil leaves and stir until wilted, about 1 minute.
- Toast the whole wheat burger buns until golden brown.
- Assemble the burgers by placing a lettuce leaf on the bottom bun, followed by a generous scoop of the Moo Pad Krapow mixture, cucumber, and tomato slices.
- Top with the other half of the bun and serve immediately.
