  • Pork shoulder, minced - 250 grams
  • Shallots, finely chopped - 2 medium
  • Fresh mint leaves, chopped - 30 grams
  • Fresh cilantro, chopped - 30 grams
  • Lime juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Fish sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Chili flakes - 1 teaspoon
  • Roasted rice powder - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
  • Vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Cucumber, sliced - 100 grams
  • Lettuce leaves - 4 large

Steps

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced pork and cook until browned and fully cooked, about 8-10 minutes.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and chopped shallots, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Remove the skillet from heat and let the mixture cool slightly.
  5. In a bowl, combine the cooked pork mixture with lime juice, fish sauce, chili flakes, roasted rice powder, mint, and cilantro. Mix well.
  6. Serve the Moo Larb on a plate with sliced cucumbers and lettuce leaves on the side for wrapping.
