- Firm tofu - 250 grams
- Red onion - 1 small, finely sliced
- Fresh mint leaves - 30 grams, chopped
- Fresh cilantro - 30 grams, chopped
- Lime juice - 2 tablespoons
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Chili flakes - 1 teaspoon
- Roasted rice powder - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon
- Cucumber - 1 small, sliced (for serving)
- Lettuce leaves - 4 large (for serving)
Steps
- Press the tofu to remove excess moisture, then crumble it into small pieces.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat, and add the minced garlic, cooking until fragrant (about 1 minute).
- Add the crumbled tofu to the skillet, stirring occasionally until it is golden brown (approximately 8-10 minutes).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked tofu, red onion, mint leaves, cilantro, lime juice, soy sauce, chili flakes, and roasted rice powder.
- Mix well until all ingredients are evenly coated.
- Serve the larb tofu mixture on a bed of lettuce leaves, garnished with cucumber slices on the side.
