Ingredients
- Minced pork - 300 grams
- Shallots - 2, finely sliced
- Fresh mint leaves - 30 grams, chopped
- Cilantro - 30 grams, chopped
- Lime juice - 3 tablespoons
- Fish sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Chili flakes - 1 teaspoon (adjust to taste)
- Lettuce leaves - 4 large, for serving
- Roasted rice powder - 1 tablespoon
- Cucumber - 1, sliced for garnish
Steps
- In a pan over medium heat, cook the minced pork, stirring occasionally until browned and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes.
- Once cooked, remove the pan from heat and let the pork cool slightly.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked pork, sliced shallots, chopped mint, chopped cilantro, lime juice, fish sauce, chili flakes, and roasted rice powder. Mix well.
- Taste and adjust seasoning with more fish sauce or lime juice as needed.
- On a plate, arrange the lettuce leaves to serve as cups for the larb mixture.
- Spoon the larb mixture into the lettuce cups and garnish with cucumber slices.
