Ingredients

  • Ground pork - 250 grams
  • Lettuce leaves (butter or romaine) - 8 large leaves
  • Shallots - 2 small, finely chopped
  • Fresh mint leaves - 10 grams, chopped
  • Fresh cilantro - 10 grams, chopped
  • Lime juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Fish sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Chili flakes - 1 teaspoon (adjust to taste)
  • Roasted rice powder - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and chopped shallots, sauté for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Add the ground pork to the skillet, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon. Cook until browned and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Stir in the fish sauce, lime juice, chili flakes, and roasted rice powder. Mix well and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in the chopped mint and cilantro.
  6. To serve, spoon the pork mixture into the center of each lettuce leaf, wrap them up, and enjoy.
