- Ground pork - 250 grams

- Fresh mint leaves - 15 grams, chopped
- Fresh cilantro - 15 grams, chopped
- Lime juice - 2 tablespoons
- Fish sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Chili flakes - 1 teaspoon
- Ground toasted rice - 1 tablespoon
- Burger buns - 2 whole grain buns
- Cucumber - 50 grams, sliced
- Lettuce leaves - 2 large leaves
- Sriracha sauce - for serving (optional)
Steps
- In a bowl, combine the ground pork, minced garlic, chopped shallots, mint, cilantro, lime juice, fish sauce, chili flakes, and ground toasted rice. Mix well until all ingredients are incorporated.
- Form the mixture into two equal patties.
- Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and browned.
- While the patties are cooking, prepare the burger buns by toasting them lightly if desired.
- Assemble each burger by placing a lettuce leaf on the bottom bun, followed by the cooked pork patty, cucumber slices, and a drizzle of Sriracha sauce if using. Top with the other half of the bun.
