- Ground chicken - 250 grams
- Shallots - 2, finely sliced

- Fish sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Chili flakes - 1 teaspoon (adjust to taste)
- Fresh mint leaves - 1/4 cup, chopped
- Fresh cilantro - 1/4 cup, chopped
- Green onions - 2, sliced
- Lettuce leaves - 4, for serving
Steps
- In a non-stick pan over medium heat, add the ground chicken and cook until browned and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic and sliced shallots to the pan, and sauté for another 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
- Remove the pan from heat and let the chicken mixture cool slightly.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the lime juice, fish sauce, and chili flakes. Stir well.
- Add the cooked chicken mixture to the bowl with the dressing, and toss to combine.
- Fold in the chopped mint, cilantro, and green onions until evenly mixed.
- Serve the larb gai in lettuce leaves, using them as wraps.
