Steps
- Begin by cooking the jasmine rice according to the package instructions. Once cooked, let it cool slightly.
- In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Add the diced carrot and bell pepper to the skillet and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until they begin to soften.
- Push the vegetables to one side of the skillet, crack the eggs into the empty space, and scramble them until fully cooked.
- Add the crab meat to the skillet, followed by the cooked rice. Stir everything together until well combined.
- Pour in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce, and black pepper. Stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until the rice is heated through and the flavors are well incorporated.
- Remove from heat and stir in the chopped green onions. Garnish with cilantro before serving.
