Steps
- Rinse the sticky rice under cold water until the water runs clear, then soak it in water for at least 30 minutes.
- Drain the soaked rice and steam it in a bamboo or metal steamer lined with cheesecloth for about 20 minutes, or until tender.
- In a small saucepan, heat the coconut milk over low heat and stir in the lime juice, salt, and black pepper. Remove from heat once warm.
- In a large bowl, combine the steamed sticky rice with the coconut milk mixture, ensuring the rice is evenly coated.
