- Sticky rice - 200 grams
- Pork tenderloin - 200 grams
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Oyster sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Brown sugar - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Coriander leaves - for garnish
- Cucumber - 1/2, sliced
Steps
- Soak the sticky rice in water for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, black pepper, and sesame oil to create the marinade.
- Slice the pork tenderloin into thin strips and marinate it in the sauce for at least 30 minutes.
- Drain the soaked sticky rice and steam it in a steamer or bamboo basket lined with cheesecloth for about 30 minutes until tender.
- While the rice is steaming, heat a pan over medium-high heat and cook the marinated pork for about 5-7 minutes until fully cooked and slightly caramelized.
- Once the sticky rice is done, serve it on plates topped with the cooked pork, garnished with coriander leaves and cucumber slices.
