- White pepper - 1 teaspoon
- Coconut milk - 100 ml
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
- Fresh cilantro, chopped - for garnish
Steps
- Soak the sticky rice in water for at least 4 hours or overnight, then drain.
- In a bowl, mix the sliced pork with soy sauce, fish sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, and white pepper. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Steam the soaked sticky rice in a bamboo steamer or a rice cooker for about 25-30 minutes until fully cooked and sticky.
- While the rice is cooking, heat a pan over medium heat and add the marinated pork. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until the pork is cooked through and slightly caramelized.
- In a small saucepan, heat the coconut milk over low heat until warm, then remove from heat.
- To serve, place a portion of sticky rice on a plate, top with the cooked pork, drizzle with warm coconut milk, and sprinkle with sesame seeds and fresh cilantro.
