- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon

- Cucumber, sliced - 1/2 for garnish
- Chili sauce (kosher) - for serving
Steps
- Soak the sticky rice in water for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- In a bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, black pepper, and salt to create a marinade.
- Add the chicken thighs to the marinade, mixing well, and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Drain the soaked sticky rice and steam it in a bamboo or metal steamer for about 30 minutes until tender.
- While the rice is steaming, preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Remove the chicken from the marinade and drizzle with vegetable oil before placing it on the grill.
- Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and golden brown.
- Once the chicken is cooked, let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
- Serve the grilled chicken over the sticky rice, garnished with cilantro and cucumber slices, with chili sauce on the side.
