Ingredients

  • Rice flour - 100 grams
  • Coconut milk - 200 ml
  • Sugar - 50 grams
  • Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Pandan leaves - 2, tied in a knot
  • Water - 200 ml

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the rice flour, sugar, and salt.
  2. Gradually add the coconut milk and water to the dry ingredients, stirring until smooth.
  3. In a pot, bring the water to a boil and add the pandan leaves for flavor.
  4. Place a steamer basket over the pot, ensuring it does not touch the boiling water.
  5. Grease small individual cups or ramekins and pour the rice flour mixture into them, filling each about 3/4 full.
  6. Cover the steamer with a lid and steam for about 15-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Remove the cups from the steamer and let them cool slightly before serving.
