- Pandan leaves - 2 (for flavor and coloring)
- Tapioca starch - 30 grams
- Water - 100 ml
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine rice flour, tapioca starch, sugar, and salt.
- In a saucepan, heat coconut milk and water together until warm, then add to the dry mixture and stir until smooth.
- Blend in the pandan leaves to infuse flavor and color, then strain the mixture to remove leaf pieces.
- Pour half of the mixture into a greased steaming dish and steam for 10 minutes.
- Remove from steam, add the remaining mixture on top, and steam for another 20 minutes until set.
- Let cool before cutting into squares and serving.
