Ingredients

  • Rice flour - 100 grams
  • Coconut milk - 200 ml
  • Sugar - 50 grams
  • Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Pandan leaves - 2 (for flavor and coloring)
  • Tapioca starch - 30 grams
  • Water - 100 ml

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine rice flour, tapioca starch, sugar, and salt.
  2. In a saucepan, heat coconut milk and water together until warm, then add to the dry mixture and stir until smooth.
  3. Blend in the pandan leaves to infuse flavor and color, then strain the mixture to remove leaf pieces.
  4. Pour half of the mixture into a greased steaming dish and steam for 10 minutes.
  5. Remove from steam, add the remaining mixture on top, and steam for another 20 minutes until set.
  6. Let cool before cutting into squares and serving.
