- Sugar - 30 grams

- Crab meat (cooked) - 100 grams
- Egg - 1 large
- Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
- Chopped scallions - 1 tablespoon
- Banana leaves (for steaming) - 2 pieces (approximately 20x20 cm)
Steps
- Soak the sticky rice in water for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Drain the sticky rice and steam it for about 20 minutes until fully cooked and sticky.
- In a bowl, mix together the coconut milk, sugar, and salt until the sugar dissolves.
- In another bowl, combine the crab meat, egg, cornstarch, and chopped scallions, mixing well to create the filling.
- Once the sticky rice is cooked, take half of it and press it into the bottom of a small dish lined with banana leaves to form a base layer.
- Spread the crab meat filling evenly over the rice layer.
- Top with the remaining sticky rice, pressing down gently to compact it.
- Cover the dish with more banana leaves and steam for an additional 20-25 minutes.
- Let it cool slightly before slicing into squares and serving warm.
