- Cilantro - 30 grams, chopped
- Lime juice - 1 tablespoon
- Coconut oil - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Lettuce leaves - 4 large (for wrapping)
- Cucumber - 1 small, sliced
- Avocado - 1 medium, sliced
- Mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons
Steps
- In a bowl, combine ground beef, Thai red curry paste, minced garlic, fish sauce, chopped cilantro, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until fully combined.
- Form the mixture into two equal patties.
- Heat coconut oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the patties and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
- While the burgers are cooking, prepare the cilantro-lime sauce by mixing mayonnaise with lime juice and a pinch of salt in a small bowl.
- Once the burgers are cooked, remove them from the skillet and let them rest for a couple of minutes.
- To assemble, place each burger patty on a large lettuce leaf, top with sliced cucumber, avocado, and a generous drizzle of the cilantro-lime sauce.
