Ingredients

  • Ground chicken - 250 grams
  • Green papaya - 150 grams, grated
  • Carrot - 50 grams, grated
  • Cherry tomatoes - 100 grams, halved
  • Fresh cilantro - 15 grams, chopped
  • Lime juice - 30 ml
  • Fish sauce - 15 ml
  • Chili flakes - 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic - 1 clove, minced
  • Almond flour - 30 grams
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Coconut oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Pepper - to taste
  • Lettuce leaves - 4 large

Steps

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, almond flour, egg, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into 2 patties and set aside.
  3. In another bowl, combine the grated papaya, grated carrot, halved cherry tomatoes, chopped cilantro, lime juice, fish sauce, and chili flakes. Toss well to make the Som Tum salad.
  4. Heat coconut oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Cook the chicken patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and golden brown.
  5. To assemble the burgers, place a lettuce leaf on a plate, add a chicken patty on top, and generously pile the Som Tum salad over the patty. Top with another lettuce leaf if desired.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy your Keto Som Tum Burger!
