Ingredients

  • Ground beef - 400 grams
  • Red curry paste - 2 tablespoons
  • Coconut flour - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
  • Fish sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Lime juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Coconut oil - 1 tablespoon (for cooking)
  • Lettuce leaves - 4 large (for wrapping)
  • Cucumber - 1/2, sliced
  • Fresh cilantro - 1/4 cup, chopped
  • Sliced red chili - to taste (optional)

Steps

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, red curry paste, coconut flour, minced garlic, grated ginger, fish sauce, lime juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly incorporated.
  2. Divide the mixture into 2 equal portions and shape them into burger patties.
  3. Heat coconut oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the burger patties and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.
  4. While the patties are cooking, prepare your lettuce wraps by washing and drying the lettuce leaves. Set aside.
  5. Once the burgers are cooked, remove them from the skillet and let them rest for a minute.
  6. Assemble the burgers by placing each patty in a lettuce leaf, topped with cucumber slices, fresh cilantro, and sliced red chili if using.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy your Keto Red Curry Burger!
