Ingredients
- Ground beef - 300 grams
- Massaman curry paste - 2 tablespoons
- Coconut cream - 2 tablespoons
- Egg - 1 large
- Almond flour - 30 grams
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Lettuce leaves - 4 large
- Cucumber - 1/2 medium, sliced
- Red onion - 1/4 medium, thinly sliced
- Peanuts - 20 grams, crushed (for garnish)
- Cilantro - a handful, for garnish
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, Massaman curry paste, coconut cream, egg, almond flour, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into burger patties.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a little oil. Once hot, add the burger patties and cook for 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.
- While the burgers are cooking, prepare the toppings by washing the lettuce leaves and slicing the cucumber and red onion.
- Once cooked, assemble the burgers by placing each patty on a lettuce leaf, topping with cucumber slices, red onion, crushed peanuts, and cilantro.
