Ingredients

  • Ground beef - 300 grams
  • Massaman curry paste - 2 tablespoons
  • Coconut cream - 2 tablespoons
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Almond flour - 30 grams
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Lettuce leaves - 4 large
  • Cucumber - 1/2 medium, sliced
  • Red onion - 1/4 medium, thinly sliced
  • Peanuts - 20 grams, crushed (for garnish)
  • Cilantro - a handful, for garnish

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, Massaman curry paste, coconut cream, egg, almond flour, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into burger patties.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a little oil. Once hot, add the burger patties and cook for 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.
  4. While the burgers are cooking, prepare the toppings by washing the lettuce leaves and slicing the cucumber and red onion.
  5. Once cooked, assemble the burgers by placing each patty on a lettuce leaf, topping with cucumber slices, red onion, crushed peanuts, and cilantro.
