- Rice flour - 50 grams
- Tapioca starch - 25 grams
- Coconut milk - 200 ml
- Sugar - 50 grams
- Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
- Water - 150 ml
- Pandan leaves (optional) - 1 leaf
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine rice flour, tapioca starch, sugar, and salt. Gradually add water and whisk until smooth.
- In a saucepan, heat coconut milk with a pinch of salt until warm, then remove from heat.
- Divide the rice flour mixture into small cups, filling them about 3/4 full.
- Pour the warm coconut milk over the rice flour mixture in each cup, filling to the top.
- Place the cups in a steamer or a pot with a steaming rack. Cover and steam for about 20-25 minutes on medium heat until set.
- Remove from heat and let cool for a few minutes before serving. Optionally, garnish with pandan leaves.
