- Wooden skewers - 4, soaked in water for 30 minutes
- Soy sauce - 3 tablespoons
- Lime juice - 2 tablespoons
- Brown sugar - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Fresh ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Chili flakes - 1 teaspoon
- Cilantro - for garnish
Steps
- Press the tofu between paper towels to remove excess moisture for about 15 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, lime juice, brown sugar, minced garlic, grated ginger, and chili flakes to create the marinade.
- Cut the pressed tofu into 1-inch cubes and add it to the marinade, ensuring all pieces are coated. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- While the tofu is marinating, prepare the vegetables by cutting them into the specified sizes.
- Preheat the grill or grill pan over medium heat.
- Once marinated, thread the tofu and vegetables alternately onto the soaked skewers.
