- Firm tofu - 300 grams
- Lemongrass stalks - 2, finely chopped

- Fresh ginger - 1 tablespoon, grated
- Soy sauce - 3 tablespoons
- Brown sugar - 1 tablespoon
- Lime juice - 2 tablespoons
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Red chili - 1, finely sliced (optional)
- Fresh cilantro - for garnish
Steps
- Press the tofu for 20 minutes to remove excess moisture, then cut it into 1-inch cubes.
- In a bowl, mix the chopped lemongrass, minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, brown sugar, lime juice, and vegetable oil to create the marinade.
- Add the cubed tofu to the marinade, ensuring each piece is well-coated. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated tofu onto skewers, alternating with slices of red chili if using.
- Grill the skewers for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the tofu is golden and has grill marks.
