Ingredients

  • Ground turkey - 300 grams
  • Green curry paste - 2 tablespoons
  • Fresh cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Lime juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Burger buns - 2
  • Cucumber - 1/2, thinly sliced
  • Red onion - 1/4, thinly sliced
  • Coconut yogurt - 100 grams
  • Lettuce leaves - 2

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, green curry paste, chopped cilantro, minced garlic, lime juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into 2 equal patties, ensuring they are compact.
  3. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a little oil. Cook the turkey patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked (internal temperature should reach 75°C).
  4. While the burgers are cooking, prepare the burger buns by toasting them lightly in the skillet or in a toaster.
  5. Spread a layer of coconut yogurt on the bottom half of each bun.
  6. Place a lettuce leaf on each bun, followed by the cooked turkey burger, slices of cucumber, and red onion.
  7. Top with the other half of the bun and serve immediately.
