Ingredients

  • Garlic (minced) - 2 cloves
  • Fresh chili (sliced) - 1 small
  • Coriander leaves (chopped) - 2 tablespoons
  • Mint leaves (chopped) - 2 tablespoons
  • Sugar (palm or brown) - 1 teaspoon
  • Cucumber (sliced) - 100 grams
  • Lettuce leaves - 4 large leaves

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine lime juice, fish sauce, minced garlic, sliced chili, and sugar. Mix well to create the dressing.
  2. Add the shrimp to the bowl and marinate for about 10 minutes.
  3. While the shrimp is marinating, prepare the cucumber and lettuce leaves on a serving plate.
  4. Heat a pan over medium heat and cook the marinated shrimp for about 5-7 minutes, or until they turn pink and opaque.
  5. Once cooked, remove the shrimp from heat and toss them with chopped coriander and mint leaves.
  6. Arrange the cooked shrimp on top of the cucumber and lettuce leaves, drizzling with any remaining dressing.
