Ingredients

  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Fish sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Honey - 1 tablespoon
  • Lime juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Kaffir lime leaves - 2, finely chopped (optional)
  • Skewers - 4 (soaked in water for 30 minutes if wooden)

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine minced garlic, chopped cilantro, soy sauce, fish sauce, honey, lime juice, black pepper, and chopped kaffir lime leaves.
  2. Add the chicken pieces to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Preheat your grill or barbecue to medium-high heat.
  4. Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto the skewers.
  5. Grill the skewers for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
