Ingredients

  • Chicken breast - 300 grams
  • Thai bird's eye chilies - 4 pieces (adjust to taste)
  • Garlic - 3 cloves
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Oyster sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Brown sugar - 1 teaspoon
  • Lime juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Red bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
  • Green beans - 100 grams, trimmed
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste

Steps

  1. In a blender, combine the bird's eye chilies, garlic, soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, and lime juice to create a marinade.
  2. Slice the chicken breast into thin strips and marinate in the prepared sauce for at least 15 minutes.
  3. While the chicken is marinating, prepare your vegetables by slicing the red bell pepper and trimming the green beans.
  4. Heat a grill pan or outdoor grill over medium-high heat and brush with olive oil.
  5. Grill the marinated chicken for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked and charred, basting with leftover marinade.
  6. In the last few minutes of grilling, add the vegetables on the grill until they are tender and slightly charred.
  7. Remove the chicken and vegetables from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes.
  8. Slice the grilled chicken into bite-sized pieces and serve on a plate with the grilled vegetables, garnished with chopped cilantro.
