  • Oyster sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Fish sauce - 1 teaspoon
  • Sugar - 1 teaspoon
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Cooked jasmine rice - 300 grams (150 grams per serving)
  • Fried egg - 2 (1 per serving)

Steps

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and bird's eye chili, stir-frying for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Increase the heat to high and add the ground pork, breaking it apart with a spatula as it cooks until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Stir in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce, and sugar, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce is well combined and the pork is fully cooked.
  5. Remove the pan from heat and fold in the Thai basil leaves until just wilted.
