- Chicken breast - 200 grams, diced

- Carrot - 1 medium, sliced
- Mushrooms - 100 grams, sliced
- Chinese cabbage - 100 grams, chopped
- Eggs - 2 large
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Fish sauce - 1 teaspoon
- White pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Green onions - 2 stalks, chopped
- Cilantro - a handful, for garnish
Steps
- In a pot, heat the chicken broth over medium heat until it begins to simmer.
- Add the minced garlic and sliced carrots to the pot, cooking for about 5 minutes until the carrots start to soften.
- Stir in the diced chicken breast and cook for another 5-7 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
- Add the sliced mushrooms and chopped Chinese cabbage, simmering for an additional 5 minutes.
- In a small bowl, whisk the eggs and then gently pour them into the soup while stirring to create egg ribbons.
- Season the soup with soy sauce, fish sauce, and white pepper, mixing well.
- Remove from heat and stir in chopped green onions and cilantro.
- Serve hot, garnished with additional cilantro if desired.
