Ingredients

  • Coconut milk - 400 ml
  • Coconut cream - 100 ml
  • Agar-agar powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Honey or maple syrup - 2 tablespoons
  • Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - a pinch
  • Fresh mango slices - for garnish

Steps

  1. In a small saucepan, combine 300 ml of coconut milk and 100 ml of coconut cream over medium heat.
  2. Add the honey (or maple syrup), vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt to the mixture and stir until fully combined.
  3. Sprinkle the agar-agar powder evenly over the coconut mixture and whisk to dissolve completely.
  4. Bring the mixture to a gentle boil, continuously stirring for about 5 minutes until it thickens slightly.
  5. Remove the saucepan from heat and allow it to cool for a few minutes.
  6. Pour the mixture into two serving bowls or ramekins and refrigerate for at least 20 minutes to set.
  7. Once set, serve chilled and garnish with fresh mango slices.
