  • Lime zest - 1 teaspoon
  • Lime juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Fish sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Honey - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Whole wheat burger buns - 2
  • Lettuce leaves - 2
  • Sliced tomato - 1 medium
  • Sliced cucumber - 1 small

Steps

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground chicken or turkey, chopped cilantro, mint, minced garlic, chopped red chili, lime zest, lime juice, fish sauce, honey, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Mix the ingredients thoroughly until well combined, then form the mixture into two equal-sized patties.
  3. Heat a grill or a non-stick pan over medium-high heat and lightly grease it with cooking spray or a small amount of oil.
  4. Cook the patties for 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through and have a nice golden-brown crust.
