- Firm tofu - 300 grams
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Sriracha sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Lime juice - 1 tablespoon
- Brown sugar - 1 teaspoon
- Red chili flakes - 1 teaspoon
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Fresh cilantro - A handful, chopped
- Green onions - 2, chopped
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon, for garnish
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Press the tofu for about 15 minutes to remove excess moisture, then cut it into bite-sized cubes.
- In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, Sriracha, minced garlic, grated ginger, lime juice, brown sugar, red chili flakes, and sesame oil to create a marinade.
- Add the tofu cubes to the marinade and toss gently to coat. Let it marinate for at least 10 minutes.
- Place the marinated tofu on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper in a single layer.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, turning halfway through, until the tofu is golden and crispy.
- Once done, remove the tofu from the oven and garnish with chopped cilantro, green onions, and sesame seeds.
- Serve hot with steamed rice or a fresh salad.
