  • Garlic powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Cumin - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Peel and cut the carrots into sticks, about 1 cm thick.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Add the carrot sticks to the bowl and toss until they are well coated with the spice mixture.
  5. Spread the carrots in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the carrots are tender and slightly caramelized, stirring halfway through.
  7. Remove from the oven and drizzle with lemon juice, then sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.
