- Sourdough bread - 4 slices

- Kosher anchovy fillets - 8 pieces
- Garlic - 1 clove, thinly sliced
- Capers - 1 tablespoon, rinsed
- Fresh parsley - 1 tablespoon, chopped
- Lemon - 1 wedge, for garnish
- Black pepper - to taste
Steps
- Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
- Drizzle 1 tablespoon of olive oil in the skillet.
- Add the sourdough bread slices to the skillet and toast them for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden and crispy.
- Remove the toasted bread from the skillet and place them on a serving platter.
- In the same skillet, add the sliced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
